Meet Dr. David Johnson
Dr. David Johnson has been practicing ophthalmology in the Valley since 1981. In 1984, he established his own practice, McCormick Eye Center, in Scottsdale, where he has earned a reputation as a skilled LASIK eye surgeon. Dr. Johnson is Chairman of the Board and Medical Director for Scottsdale Eye Surgery Center. Dr. Johnson also taught ophthalmology residents at the Maricopa County Medical Center from 1985 to 1997.
Dr. Johnson is a 1977 graduate of the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, Arizona. He completed his internship at Mercy Hospital & Medical Center in San Diego, California and his ophthalmology residencies at the University of Arizona Hospitals and the prestigious Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation and Affiliated Hospitals in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Johnson is a board certified ophthalmologist.
An asset to the Scottsdale area as both a LASIK eye surgeon and member of the community, Dr. Johnson is active in the following organizations:
